This cat came to us as a foster. He had never been to a vet. We do not know anything about his home situation or behavior. He has been in our home since July 2023 and has never been social with family members. We have worked with him to socialize and he has progressed to the point that only if he has a calming medication he will accept a little touching but otherwise not. He does not want to be picked up and habitually hides behind furniture. He uses a cat box and never marks. He has not been outside since July. Vet noted that he is approximately 2-3 years old, and weighs 8.1 lbs. He will eat dry, but not wet food. He consumes water normally and his litterbox is normal. Other than being underweight, he seems healthy. Neutered on 4/23/24, and he received vaccines (Rabies 1 year, FVRCP – 1st, Revolusion, Praziquantel – Cats) and is tatooed. He was cared for by Feral Cat Spay/Neuter project.
