Adopt Buddy a All Black Bombay / Mixed (short coat) cat in Bloomington

Buddy is 8 years old. He was rehomed 2.5 years ago from a family with a dog that he didn't like. Buddy is a very sassy, charismatic cat with a big personality that loves to talk. He is a scaredy cat that is curious of everything. He loves people. Buddy's favorite things are laying in the sun, watching birds and squirrels outside, and playing with shoestrings. He doesn't really like cat toys unless there are treats involved. We are looking to rehome Buddy due to his behavior regarding food. He recently broke into his auto feeder and ate half of the container. Now he stares at it for hours on end. Buddy also began jumping on the kitchen counter to look for crumbs or dishes that were left out. We have tried everything to keep him from going on the counter, but he does it anyway. Buddy would do best in a home without dogs. He would love to sleep on the bed and sit with his humans on the couch. He generally does his own thing but loves attention when his humans are around.
