Monroe is a feral cat who is learning to live indoors. He has been staying in an office with Allie, our Volunteer & Social Media Manager, for a few months now. However, he still needs time to feel comfortable with humans.Our goal is to find a patient and understanding home for Monroe. He needs people who will allow him to take his time and not force attention on him. He is making progress each day and seems to be more relaxed in Allie's presence (though she hasn't been able to pet him yet).Monroe is FIV+, so he needs to stay indoors to avoid spreading FIV to other cats. Although he would typically be placed through our Barn Buddy Program, he requires a special home because of his condition.At night, Monroe roams the office, plays with toys, and enjoys watching the world outside through the windows.
