Adopt Summer a All Black Domestic Shorthair / Mixed Breed (Medium) / Mixed

Summer is a super sweet girl who has experienced a lot in her short life. She came to us in the middle of the summer in 2018, the man who brought her in, watched her owner throw her outside after moving out of her home and taking her other 3 cats with her. She came to us with expected heat stroke, but after being seen by an emergency vet she was diagnosed with Idiopathic Vestibular disease, which was assumed to be due to a deep inner ear infection. For a month after the diagnosis, she was unable to walk, or control her bowel movements, but slowly she regained her walking and was a totally normal cat after she was over her ear infection. This is not something that is reoccurring and has not happened since. She would do best in a quiet home with another older and calmer cat. She would not do well with children or dogs.
