A little kitten back then, she and her two littermates were swooped up in the nick of time from a bustling freeway! After landing with The Rescue House, she was adopted along with her brother later that year. Fast forward to 2024, and we were surprised to learn that Lucy was in need of a new home for an unexpected reason... Lucy is "loving to the extreme" and wants to be on her person all the time. We're on a mission to find a forever family who can match this amazing lovebug!If you're looking for a sweet-as-honey feline, then Lucy is your girl! On a scale of 1 to 10, Lucy is a 20 when it comes to being affectionate. Enamored by you, she insists on keeping you company. According to Lucy, it is not enough just to be near you; she insists on being curled up on top of you! It is no surprise that her happy place is your lap. Feeling extra ooey-gooey, she'll start kneading batches of kitty biscuits. She kneads a lot! Confident and outgoing, she'll also mingle with your guests. Skipping the handshakes and small talk, Lucy will hop on them for welcome snuggles. Somewhat active, she's still playful and enjoys batting around her cat toys. More calm and dependent, she'll typically choose social hour over playtime. Treats are another way to her heart. A silly fact: Lucy will readily jump up onto a lap but doesn't like to be picked up or carried around! Even Velcro kitties have preferences on how they'll "stick" to you. Lucy previously lived with another cat and an 8-year-old mini goldendoodle. While she didn't mind them, it appears that they didn't interact much. We believe she'd likely adjust fine to other felines and canines but might not develop a close relationship with them. She is definitely a people-kitty! She grew up with older kids and teens. She'd probably welcome younger children who will give her lots of attention!Lucy deserves an extra sweet family who will appreciate the endless love this Velcro-kitty has to give!
