My mother was moved to a long term care facility several weeks and is no longer be able to care for her kitty. After exhaustive efforts, I've been unable to find anyone to take her and need to rehome her elsewhere. Here are details that I know (I don't know much and my mother can't communicate well anymore): 1. Her name is Butterscotch2. She's a manx, approximately 10 years old. 3. It's just been she and my mother with little exposure to other people and zero exposure to other animals, so she's a little skittish.4. She's 100% indoor. I think she tried escaping once outside but hasn't really been or seen outdoors her entire life. 5. She tends to prefer males over females (friendlier with males) but is overall a very sweet girl. I hope there is someone who will give her as much love as my mother. I haven't told my mother that we have to re-home Butterscotch, as it would just crush her. But she's no longer able to care for her.
