I got Nellie Sept 3rd, 2020. She’s turning 4 this year. Born July 2nd 2020. I had a yorkie that I had just given to a good friends kid for Valentine’s Day. I just had gotten a new position at a job which required more time than I could give to my yorkie. Little did I know the world would shut down! I didn’t want to be stuck at home with no companion. I needed emotional support. My friends tortoiseshell cats had babies ! She didn’t want to keep them all so she gave them away for free. Fast forward to now, I have a 2 month old. She’s having trouble adjusting. Im torn. I love her so much ! But I know now I can’t give her 100% like when it was just me and her. I live with my fiancé and our new baby. I can tell she isn’t as happy. She isn’t a fan of toddlers AT ALL. She only likes babies and adults lol. She needs adults that will give her attention but also space. She loves to be near you. And she’s very playful at times. She’s the sweetest girl. Just misses being the only child haha.
