Alfie came to us when he was abandoned by a neighbor that was evicted. He had a horrendous wound on his leg. He was so friendly and decided to live on our porch. We fed him and gave him water but the wound got worse so we took him to DAS. They told us that after 30 days they may need to put him down because they are overcrowded. So we adopted him because he is so sweet. Since bringing him home he has gotten such a big personality. He has the most hilarious meows and loves to talk. He kneads when he wants to give love and loves to play (although sometimes he gets lazy and lays on his back pawing at the toys). He can be inside and outside but prefers inside most of the time. He hangs out with other neighborhood cats still but loves coming home. The only challenge is we have a dog and he clearly has issues with dogs (probably because of previous owner). As a defense mechanism, he sometimes attacks the dog. We know he will be an amazing part of a family that does not have dogs :)
