Meow, my name is Butterscotch and I'm so happy to see you here. I'm not available for adoption, as I've already adopted the staff at HSMC, but I have a lot of shelter friends that are still looking for families to adopt. See someone you like? You can get the process started by filling out an online application or better yet, you can come in and meet them (and me)! My staff requires everyone in the household to visit, proof of landlord consent/home ownership and up to date vaccinations for your current pets! You're likely to find me lounging on the front counter when you get here, that's my favorite spot. I'm an exceptional greeter! Together we can find wonderful homes for all of the wonderful animals in Marathon county. I hope to see you soon!Adoption processPre adoption application required, including references, and proof of home ownership or rental permission forthe pet in question. All members of the household are required to visit the pet prior to adoption. In the case of dogs, other dogs in the household must meet potential new dog. Selections are not made on a first come basis, but an overall likelihood of a successful placement based on the application information and meetings.
