Rick is a sweetheart mackerel tabby who is a good listener and very playful. He was born and raised at Twin Cities Pet Rescue with his two other brothers - Jerry and Morty. Rick is a healthy kitty and a pro at the litterbox. He quickly picked up on how to use a scratching post and is good about getting his feet touched. Rick is a well-rounded kitten that will grow up to be a fabulous cat. Like any kitten, he loves to wrestle and chase his siblings, climb, and pounce on anything that moves. He'd happily run up and down the stairs chasing toys all day but he's also the first to join his human for a nap or lap-sit. He loves attention and praise and will purr when being petted. Rick also loves to explore but is reasonably cautious around new sounds, smells, and movements. Rick's forever home will need another cat (or similar pet) to chase/wrestle and a human who is available daily for active play. He adapts quickly to unfamiliar humans and will let anyone pick him up. When meeting a new cat, he poofs his tail and spikes his back but doesn't hiss or act aggressively. This is good behavior/communication that will serve him well befriending other cats. He is friendly with the foster's adult cat. Rick has limited experience around dogs and children but I think he would do well with intentional introductions.
