Morty is a sweet mackerel tabby who aims to please and is very playful. He was born and raised at Twin Cities Pet Rescue with his two other brothers - Jerry and Rick. Morty is a healthy kitty and a pro at the litterbox. He is just starting to get the hang of the scratching post and is good about getting his feet touched. Morty is a well-rounded kitten that will grow up to be a great cat. Like any kitten, he loves to wrestle and chase his siblings, climb, and pounce on anything that moves. He likes playing with balls in the empty bathtub and watching squirrels out the window. When his brothers stampede, Morty will turn back to check in with his human. He's a good rule-follower that loves positive attention and will purr when petted. Morty's forever home will need another cat (or similar pet) to chase/wrestle and a human who is available daily for active play. He adapts quickly to unfamiliar humans and will let anyone pick him up. When meeting a new cat, he poofs his tail and spikes his back but doesn't hiss or act aggressively. This is good behavior that will serve him well befriending other cats. He is friendly with the foster's adult cat, asking for (and receiving) forehead licks. Morty has limited experience around dogs and children but I think he would do well with intentional introductions. Come see him at the Petco in Highland Park located at 2277 Ford Pkwy. St. Paul, MN 55116 He is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age.
