Aires is a confident and laid-back cat who loves her independence. She`s not afraid to show her playful side, but she`s also happy to just lounge around the house and enjoy the quiet life. Despite being a cat, she`s surprisingly tolerant of dogs and has even been known to initiate playtime with her canine friends. In her previous home she was overwhelmed by younger children so it may be best for her to have teens and adults in her furrever family. Aires is a sweetheart but does not mind showing some spice when she is overstimulated and wants to be left to her own devices.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12 pm and 2 pm -6 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-XXXX ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
