Hi! My name is Mia and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by my previous owner on 10/24/20 because they were moving and not able to take me with. I lived in a home with other cats and did great but I have never really interacted with dogs so I would need a slow introduction. I have been around older children before and I seem to do really well with all children; my previous owners think I would do better in a home with kids! My previous owner described me as shy and timid at first but once I trust you I am a very sweet and loving kitty. It was also mentioned that I seem to do really well with toe nail trims at home! I was returned after several years because I did not reliably use my litterbox. The other cats in the household were not fond of me either.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home but I can also be an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing! I do enjoy getting lots of love and attention but I just enjoy it more when it is on my own terms and time. I am a sweet cat who may need extra time and attention to warm up to new situations and new people. When I was a wee little one, I was not taught how nice and friendly people can be, but I am learning quickly! Though I may be timid at first, once you take the time to show me I can trust you I will show you just how wonderful I can be.I am a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!
