Meet our sweet tuxedo boy named Bumblebee! Bumblebee is a large male cat who is about 7 years old. He came to our shelter after one of his owners passed away and the other lost their housing soon after. Bumblebee is a quiet and shy boy at first, but after some butt pets and baby talk, he is a really sweet and affectionate boy! He is going to take a few days to get used to his new home, but he really has shown that he likes attention and head rubs. He has started to roll around and make biscuits in his blankets while being pet. Bumblebee would like a quiet home where he can just hang out and do his thing. He did live with 2 other female cats who have also been surrendered to us and are available for adoption. One cat was his mate, a 7 year old female named Butterfly, and the other is their daughter, a 4 year old female named Magic. Bumblebee is a nice boy who would love to have a home to call his own! He can be adopted separately, or with the other cats he came with. Bumblebee is fine with other cats and can go to a home with children 12 years old and older. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
