*** Selena is at The Cat Cafe in downtown San Diego. ***Brown/black tabby, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 2/16/23, #18895Cats: good solo, okay with intro Dogs: unknown, may be okay Children: well-mannered kids likely okayOne day, a person brought a heavily pregnant cat into a pet supply store, set her on the grooming counter, then turned around and walked out. A Good Samaritan who was in the store at the time rescued the abandoned mother-to-be and called The Rescue House. Selena gave birth to four beautiful babies only a few days later and raised them in the comforts of foster care. Now her mothering duties are over and she's hoping to find a new guardian who will love her unconditionally and provide a home that will last her the rest of her life. This girl is super sweet! Selena will give you countless numbers of head bumps, purrs, and other expressions of affection. She LOVES being held. If she is held like a baby, Selena makes the cutest air muffins. If she is held over the shoulder, she'll put her paws on either side of your neck and give you a cuddle-hug... nestling in as close as she can while making muffins behind your head. Selena also wants to be involved in any project going on in her view, and she intends to help (wanted or not). Working on a computer? Selena's on the desk in a New York second, helping you keep those papers from flying away. When she's fed, Selena stands up on her back feet to greet her human carrying the food, then purrs generously in thanks for such a delicious meal (it'll be gone quickly). Unsurprisingly, Selena likes to follow her person around --- a plus for being cute, though sometimes it requires the human to be especially watchful so as not to trip over her! She has a very even temperament, and if you are looking for a doting kitty companion, she's one of the very best!Given Selena's easygoing personality, we think she has the ability to live comfortably with another cat, feline-friendly dogs, and well-mannered children. Just give her some introduction time to newcomers and keep in mind her first focus is people.Selena is ready to shower her forever human with love. Are you ready for the cuddle-kitty of a lifetime?
