TEDDY is a fluffy black kitten with the cutest face and an even sweeter disposition. He is very snuggly, and like all kittens, very curious. He loves to climb and purr and is the first to greet you and check out what’s going on. He likes affection, such as belly rubs, but also loves to play and wrestle with his siblings. He is brave and didn’t take much time at all to warm up to new surroundings and start checking out the resident cats and dog at his foster family’s home. He will need to be carefully monitored as he is very curious about the outdoors and may try to dash through the door; however he doesn’t run too far or try to hide – he can easily be scooped up. Teddy’s adopter needs to be experienced with long-haired cats, as he will require weekly hairball medication and frequent brushing (preferably with a Furminator) as he grows up and his long coat fills out. Teddy came to CRAN with his brothers BISCUIT and ZORO, and would enjoy being adopted with one of them. TEDDY has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. You can meet TEDDY at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in North Eugene (2847 Chad Dr, across from Costco), beginning Saturday 5/25. Please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up a meet and greet. The $175 ($320 for a pair) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
