Hey there, my name is Mushu!There is something unique about me that I want to tell you, I am blind! The medical team here found out it is due to bilateral retinal degeneration. That may sound scary but I am in good health overall and my eyes don`t seem to bother me. Due to me being blind, I will need a home with older children. There are some tips and tricks I`d like to tell you about to help me live my best life in your home!Spatial mapping is a good resource to help me navigate your home. Different textures and and scent cues will help me know which part of the house I am in. Talking to me constantly helps me know that you are in the same room with me and it will make me less startled. There are a lot more tricks that will help guide you, to help me live my best life and I will be sent home with a pamphlet that will go over more stuff.I am the perfect lap warmer! I may be blind, but trust me, I will find your lap, I will make the best biscuits and I will melt your heart!I am so excited to go to my forever home with you!
