UPDATE: Poor Albert was returned for no fault of his own. Albert's former owner reports that he did not like the dog they were pet sitting and they had ordered a puppy, so figured Albert would not get along with the puppy. His former owner reports that Albert was very friendly in his home. We do not know how Albert would do with other cats or children. As soon as he sees his human friends, Albert meows a greeting and rolls over to tempt belly pets. He'll rub up against your legs and head butt your hand to get scritches around his cheeks and ears. He is a total sweetheart. Albert was found struggling on the abandoned on the streets of Baltimore. We trapped him and found that he was definitely not feral. He's been vetted and is ready to find his forever home! He gets along with most cats, but definitely prefers human affection.Albert has been ASHA's ambassador kitty at the B&O Railroad Museum's Farmer's Market in Baltimore. We are a foster system so we do not have a facility. Visits to meet an adoptable animal at a foster family is by appointment only. In the rare case that you decide your initial kitty isn't the right fit, we can introduce you to our many other types of cats to find the right fit.Once you have settled on your new furry family member, the next step is to complete and sign the online adoption contract to finalize the adoption.Adoption Fees: $150 for kittens and cats under 5 years old. $125 for cats 5 and older.
