Silkie is a gorgeous, long-haired, black and brown tabby with amazing ear floof. She came to us very timid and scared, but has learned to trust her foster mom and now she enjoys lap snuggles. She has also become very playful and loves to chase her sister, Frizzle. Silkie will need to be kept in a small space until she feels safe in her new home. A patient family will certainly be rewarded with love from this sweet and shy girl! She has really opened up a lot just in the past few days. It is amazing to see them blossom.Get $50 off a pair of kittens. Meet Silkie and Frizzle at our weekly adoption events on Wednesday, 6-8pm and Saturday, 12-4pm. All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
