Meow! Hi there, I'm Sassafras, and I'm excited to tell you about myself! I'm a short-haired brown tabby cat, about 5 and a half years old, and I weigh a petite 9 pounds. Life has been an adventure, and I'm ready to find my forever home! Let me describe myself a bit-I'm sweet, independent, and quite the conversationalist. I love to chat with my human friends and tell them about my day. But don't worry, I'm also a loving kitty who enjoys cuddling up with you on the couch, especially when the sun is shining through the window. I'm what you might call a "couch potato," meaning I appreciate the finer things in life, like lounging around and enjoying the comfort of home. Speaking of comfort, I absolutely adore basking in the warm sunlight-it's one of my favorite pastimes. I'm litterbox trained and I tolerate other cats. I can definitely co-exist with my feline friends, but I would rather be around my people than other kitties. I'm also a bit of an explorer and would thrive in a home where I can venture outdoors safely and then come back inside for snuggles.
