Ida and Matilda are two very shy but sweet tortoiseshell girls who lost their home when their owner passed away. Ida is a little bigger and has more tan on her chin. They do not like other animals and would be best in a calm environment, as the only pets and with older kids or adults. They will come for attention but prefer to be by your side or near you for pets rather than carried around or on your lap. They enjoy chasing each other and also playing with toys. Ida and Matilda are looking for the purr-fect home to shine, play and enjoy quiet time. They will be loving companions with proper time and lots of tlc in their new home.Adoption processVisit inapl.org to print out an adoption application. If you are interested in a specific pet please remember to write their name and kennel number(there are multiple animals with the same name in our shelter.) Cat/kitten adoption fee: $85Includes: Spay/neuter, FIV/Feline Leukemia/Heartworm testing, vaccinations, rabies shot (for those old enough), wormer, microchip and a free vet visit at participating vets. ***Cats adopted from PetSmart (Anderson location) get an adoption packet from PetSmart with valuable coupons for a free bag of food, discounted toys, etc. Dog/Puppy adoption fee: $100Includes: Spay/neuter, Heartworm test, vaccinations, rabies shot (for those old enough), wormer, microchip and a free vet visit at participating vets. Dogs from the F.I.D.O. shelter dog prison program adoption fee: $150Includes: Spay/neuter, vaccinations, rabies shot, Heartworm test, microchip, wormer, a free vet exam to use at a participating vet. They are also crate trained, house trained and know their 5 basic commands.
