Meet Encanto a beautiful Turkish Van mix born July 2021. Mama Encanto arrived in North Texas with her four newborn kittens in March. She had been surrendered to a high kill shelter in the Rio Grand Valley and gave birth 2 days later.She was a wonderful mama that was protective of her babies and made sure they were well taken care of. She's now ready for her forever home.Encanto is a sweet, shy, playful girl. When she first arrives in your home, she'll find all the good hiding places. She'll need a place to decompress and slowly let herself integrate. When she feels safe with you, you're in for lots of love. If you make your still hand or leg available for her, she will love on you! She also loves to play. She'll turn any small item on a slick floor into hours of fun. You'll even see her stand up on her two rear paws as she tosses it and tries to catch it! This sweet girl experienced some rough times before Saving Hope, and even helped care for a litter of Saving Hope kittens that were not her own. She'll be a loving and playful addition to any family! Encanto would probably do best in a calmer household where she gets to enjoy being an only animal. But, she could be alright with another non don dominant calm cat. She is a super loving, fun, smart girl. She is vetted and litter box trained.You must submit an application to be considered for adoption.
