Wow, am I a sweet girl! I used to live in a scary place, but now I am safe and I love my foster family. My previous family was mean to me, but my foster family is very gentle and kind. I am still a bit fearful, but my foster family is very patient with me and I love them. My leg was broken when I was younger, but it has healed now. Foster mom says a calm, quiet home is what I like best.I love attention and to sit with my foster mom. I love to be petted and brushed. With a little extra attention I could be YOUR special love. If you have other kitties, I will need some time to get to be friends because I get scared. I think I would like to be an only cat. (I absolutely love kittens though!)I will need time and patience to adjust to a new home, but once we are friends we'll be BFF's!If you think you might want to love me, just talk to my foster mom. She loves me and says I am special! (blush)Adoption processIf you'd like to adopt an animal from us, please go to our website at www.homesforpets.org to fill out an adoption application! All potential dog adoptions require a home visit. Cat adoptions sometimes require a home visit - it depends on the cat. Dog adoption fees are $165.00 for mixed breedsand $265.00 for purebreds. The adoption fee includes all vaccinations, heartworm testing and prevention, deworming, flea and tick prevention, spay/neuter, vet check, microchip, and all other medical issues cared for until time of adoption. Cat adoption fees are usually $75.00, and may be slightly more for purebreds. The adoption fee includes all vaccinations, feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea and tick prevention, spay/neuter, vet check, microchip and all other medical issues cared for until time of adoption.Shelter locationAdoption events are held at the following locations/times: We hold adoption events at the Forum PetSmart (exits 172-173 off IH-35 in San Antonio) each weekend from noon - 4:00 p.m. We also occasionally hold other adoption events.
