Clarissa and her littermate, Marty, were rescued by a family who wanted to get these beauties off the street and into wonderful homes. Both absolutely LOVE to play and will chase anything that moves. They also like to play hide and seek, as you can see!They both get along with great other cats (with proper introduction of course) but haven't had any experience with dogs since I've had them. They also haven't had any exposure to young children, but after a little patience, are very curious about adults and older children. Both have the cutest little squeaky meows you've ever heard!Adoption processIf you'd like to adopt an animal from us, please go to our website at www.homesforpets.org to fill out an adoption application! All potential dog adoptions require a home visit. Cat adoptions sometimes require a home visit - it depends on the cat. Dog adoption fees are $165.00 for mixed breedsand $265.00 for purebreds. The adoption fee includes all vaccinations, heartworm testing and prevention, deworming, flea and tick prevention, spay/neuter, vet check, microchip, and all other medical issues cared for until time of adoption. Cat adoption fees are usually $75.00, and may be slightly more for purebreds.
