This charming feline loves to come right up to you, craving pets and playful interactions. His intelligence and curiosity mean he's always up for an adventure. If you're looking for a loving, playful, and intelligent companion, Schwartz is the perfect addition to your family! Schwartz's estimated date of birth is February 28, 2018. He is neutered, vaccinated, and FIV+. FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, is a slow-acting virus that affects a cat’s immune system. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy, and happy lives with proper care. Managing FIV involves regular veterinary check-ups, a balanced diet, and keeping the cat indoors to prevent infections and protect their health. Despite his FIV status, Schwartz remains a vibrant and active cat, ready to bring joy and love into your home. Schwartz was caught as part of our adoption center’s TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program on the East Side. Though he was part of this program, he is by no means feral. Schwartz is incredibly sweet and social, always eager to make new friends and be part of a loving family. All cats are fiv/felv tested.Shelter locationThe Colony Cats Adoption Center is a completely different experience in 'sheltering' homeless companion cats. While most of our felines still live in foster homes, we now can bring them out into the public with our cage free adoption center. Cats can do what comes naturally- jump, run, climb, and play; but only until they find their way into your heart and home. We have pledged not only to make this a completely different experience for the cats, but also for the public. While we strive to make the adoption center as beautiful as possible, the cats within our care remain our top priority.
