Morgan, Domestic Mediumhair For Adoption In Arlington, Vermont

Location:
Arlington, VT
Description:

This chatty man is Morgan! Morgan is an 8 year old, FIV+ Domestic Medium Hair that was brought to SCAC as a stray found on a horse farm. This sweet man is very vocal and talks non stop! He is a great conversationalist and will absolutely talk back to you! Morgan is very food motivated and loves food of any kind. This includes wet food, treats, and of course his dry food. Morgan loves singing while he waits for his morning feeding. Morgan is a silly boy that will roll all over the floor begging for treats! He loves catnip, his scratching pad, exploring the cat room, and of course all the attention! He can possibly live with other FIV+ felines with proper introduction, respectful teenagers, and possibly a feline savvy dog. (Don't worry his fur will grow back). Please visit the following link on our website to learn about Second Chance's adoption process. http://www.2ndchanceanimalcenter.org/adoption.html May 24, 2024, 12:44 pmAdoption processWhen you see an animal in our kennel or cattery that you are interested in, we will ask that you complete some paperwork (our "Adoption Application"). This paperwork must be completed first in order to minimize stress for you and the animals. Our process includes asking questions: asking for veterinary references-particularly when you have other animals at home. This is simply to protect the health of adoption candidates and the pets you already have. You will have a counseling session with one of our knowledgeable staff members who will fill you in on the history and needs of that animal, and his feeding and exercise requirements. You can ask your counselor any questions about spaying or neutering, housetraining, obedience training, scratching (in cats), veterinary care, how to deal with fleas and ticks, and anything else you can think of. If you are approved to adopt, you will be asked to sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee. This fee covers spaying or neutering, and the veterinary care, deworming and vaccines your pet has received at the shelter. You can find the Adopter's Profile on our website.Shelter locationOur shelter is located at 1779 VT Route 7A in Arlington, Vermont. The facility is a single-story building with parking in front.
