Hi, my name is Dahlia Don't, and I'm a beautiful long-haired tuxedo kitty bursting with life, love, energy, and curiosity. My foster mom named me Dahlia Don't because she’s always telling me to stop doing something! She says I'm a force to be reckoned with in a tiny little package. Oh, and have you seen my tail? It's just as unique as me. Due to my curiosity, I got into a bit of trouble and lost half of it. But don't worry, it doesn’t bother me at all—in fact, I think it just adds to my special charm. I’d make a great companion for both first-time kitty owners and experienced cat parents. I get along great with other cats and would thrive with a buddy close to my age (have you seen my brother Ewan...he's awesome too!). I think dogs are just wonderful and get along great with them too. Although I didn’t grow up with kids, I’m sure they’d be fun to have around. If you're looking for a kitty to keep you on your toes, entertained, and always laughing, I'm your girl!Adoption processOur current fee for a cat or kitten is $80.00We require a signed application that is reviewed by our volunteers.Adopter must agree that the pet will be Inside Only and must have permission from their landlord if they are renting.Before adoption all of our pets are thoroughly examined by one of our vets. They have received a rabies shot, series of vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV and are always spayed or neutered.Shelter locationWe currently have kennels available to us at the Twin Falls and Meridian PetSmart Adoption Centers. We have scheduled kitten socials, where you can arrange to meet some of our cats. Our pets are also available for viewing on our website and on petfinder.com. We are happy to arrange a private meeting and adoption for any of our cats after we have approved the adoption application.
