Latte is a young girl that raised her babies and would love a home with a family. She is affectionate and enjoys hanging in your lap for snoozes. She will also stand on her back legs to give you hugs and kisses. She can be talkative. She enjoys toy wands or a nice scratching post. Watching birds out the window is another favorite pastime. She is in a foster home with other cats and dogs and does well. She will make a great member of any family! Latte is one year old and weighs 8 lbs. All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. Latte is Mom to Liam and Lenny. She is part of the Mom and Me program. Moms and kittens often form close bonds and do well together in homes. So to keep families together and allow our Moms the opportunity to get into a new home sooner, you can adopt one of her kittens at the regular adoption fee and also adopt her for only $100 more. If you are interested in this program, please fill out an application and indicate which Mom and kitten you are interested in.Adoption processWe only adopt out animals to homes within 60 miles of the Twin Cities. Our adoption process begins with the return of our pre-adoption form, available on our website. After reviewing your application a meeting is scheduled between you and the pup, sometimes in the fosters home or at a neutral dog friendly place. If any resident dogs are in your home, it is recommended that the pups meet at this time. After the meeting a home visit is scheduled and if everything goes well with the visit the adoption is finalized at that time. A home visit by one of Safe Hands representatives is REQUIRED prior to finalizing any adoption and we must meet all members of the household where the pup will be living sometime during the adoption process.Shelter locationCome on out and meet all of our great adoptable pups!!
