I started feeding Marmalade in 2017 and got him neutered in 2018 where I found out he had feline leukemia. Rather than put him down, I had my other cat inoculated against feline leukemia and they spent 6 weeks separated in my house. Marmalade got along well (and still gets along well) with my cat Sammy. Marmalade is very cuddly and active. In 2019, he begged me to bring Buddy into my home. Unfortunately Marmalade has pretty much continuously harassed Buddy since day 1. Marmalade bites and scratches Buddy and has caused abscesses on Buddy's tail at least 4 times. I can't afford it anymore. Because Marmalade has feline leukemia, he cannot go outside and must be an indoor kitty. I guess it would be your choice to have other cats in your household, knowing feline leukemia is highly contagious and knowing Marmalade can be a bully to other cats.
