Colby, Domestic Shorthair For Adoption In Lafayette, Louisiana

Location:
Lafayette, LA
Description:

Colby, his 3 brothers and 2 sisters are part of the 6 kitten Cheese Crew, going into a separate foster home. They are all spunky and bright-eyed, play hard with each other and no one ever seems to be the winner of a wrestling match. There is always a buddy to play with!Wand toys have them launching through the air and chasing the toy at the end with a crazy amount of energy. They are particularly fond of climbing all over their foster mom. Be ready to help them burn their kitten energy! They are all love bugs (love smooches), but Muenster takes the blue ribbon for being the love-buggiest by seeking it out. They will do perfectly fine when properly introduced to existing pet family. Adopting in pairs would be ideal for these little guys. Colby is the darkest of the orange kittens, and may turn red as he grows older. He is the second largest of the group and spunkiest. He has an 8 pattern just above his M and his fuzzy coat pattern sets him apart from his brothers Provolone and Muenster. He really likes his chin scratches and gentle play with foster mom.on*** If you'd like to make this pet part of your family, please fill out an online application today: https://form.jotform.com/211746872887169 ***~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Would you like to help us with the financial cost of the pets in our care? You can donate here via PayPal: https://tinyurl.com/2p8cx966 and your donation is tax-deductible. THANK YOU!Adoption processAs a Trap-Neuter-Return group, we cannot process cats for intake to a shelter setting. The cats and kittens we offer for adoption are the result of rescue during "TNR" wherein they were caught in a humane trap for spay or neuter. Friendly cats and kittens young enough to be socialized are put into the adoption system when we determine that they would be safer as household pets. Healthy feral (wild) cats are returned to the trap site to rejoin their colony under the lifelong care of dedicated volunteers. It is Wild Cat Foundation's policy that all cats and kittens, without exception, be altered prior to adoption. In addition, all prospects have been tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and are current on all vaccinations and treatment for parasites. It is our policy to require an adoption application and interview of all prospective adoptive families. We reserve the right to deny an application for any reason. Our goal is to make sure everyone is happy! Once an adoption takes place, a Wild Cat Foundation volunteer may follow up within one or two weeks--to check on the progress of the pet and to learn how he is adjusting to his new home. Also, we are glad to hear from our new pet parents at any time, especially if there are any problems or concerns.ADOPTION APPLICATIONS:- for cats: https://form.jotform.com/211746872887169- for dogs: https://form.jotform.com/230546381070147
