Meet Tolkien! He was found all alone and turned in to Chesapeake Animal Services as a kitten. Now he’s looking for a forever home! He’s a shy guy, but he ADORES pets! He doesn't like being picked up or held, and he doesn't sit on your lap, but he will jump up on the couch for love and can never get enough! Did someone say TREATS? He loves every type of cat treat he can get his paws on! He was a little older when he found his meow, and he still has a bit of a baby voice - so cute! He loves all toys, but his favorites are string and fuzzy ball toys. He loves to sleep up high on wall furniture or towers, so hopefully you’ll have an aerial perch or two for him. He LOVES to play and since his foster brother was adopted he really misses having another kitty to play with, so he’ll thrive in a home with a feline friend! He also does okay with the dogs in his foster home. He would also do best with adults and possibly older children since he is shy and will need time to warm up and adjust, but your patience will be richly rewarded!
