Stacey A55638509Stacy is a black and red Tortoiseshell female who has been around other cats and dogs with a slow introduction. She is affectionate, easy-going, friendly and playful. Stacy was born 4/2023 and poor Stacy was found abandoned. Stacey has a grade 3 out of 6 heart murmur on auscultation (listening to the heart). Heart murmurs in cats can develop due to many different reasons such as, but not limited to, congenital heart defects or cardiomyopathy, a disease of the heart muscle that makes it harder for the heart to pump blood to the rest of the body. Stacey was spayed at our facility and her post surgery recovery was uneventful, however, a heart murmur may place Stacey at an increased risk if placed under anesthesia for future surgeries.
