Meet Snickers, a sweet, curious kitty on the hunt for her forever home! When she's not snuggling up with our volunteers, you can find Snickers chasing down wand toys and enjoying a little catnip. Come meet this sweet girl today!Snickers has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) which means that her immune system is weakened and she is more prone to infections and other types of illnesses than she otherwise would be. There is no cure for FIV; however, many cats live for years without ever developing any full-blown disease and enjoy a great quality of life. FIV cannot be spread to humans but it can be spread to other cats via bite, so she needs to find a home where she is the only cat, or with other FIV positive cats. She also needs to strictly be an indoor-only cat. If you have room in your home and heart for a positively AWESOME cat, she just may be the one for you!
