Billie showed up at the home of a 99-year-old WWII vet just hours after he passed away. The veteran's name was Bill, so she was dubbed the name Billie. His sweet older cat who he adopted from us years before had passed away a few months before Bill, but now that he was gone, their would be no one to care for this scared stray. So, Billie came to us. She obviously had been bullied by feral cats, so she is skittish around other kitties. She will do best in a calm home, and probably okay with older, gentle kids. Billie is a beautiful tuxedo little girl. She is small in stature but very big in heart. Billie is a very sweet little girl who dives into being petted and will sit with you like that for as long as you'll have her. Sadly, Billie has tested positive for FIV from being bullied. But rest assured, it is not contagious to other people or dogs. FIV+ kitties cam live very long lives with no maintenance drugs whatsoever. They are usually the last to be adopted from us, which is the whole reason she SHOULD be given a fair, honest chance at her forever home. There is not one thing this little girl has that isn't just perfect.
