Millie was rescued when she was about 9 months old. She is currently about 9 years old. She was raised in a house with dogs, with whom she has always gotten along. We don't have children, so we're not certain how she would interact with them.Millie is funny about using her litter boxes (she has three). While she always urinates in them, she doesn't always defecate in them. But she always defecates in the basement, where her boxes are. We give her fluoxetine daily, but it doesn't seem to help. We're moving out of the country into a rented, furnished apartment without a basement. We're afraid that the transition won't work for the Mills. While she has been an indoor cat, we think that she would be a great barn cat. She has murdered mice and slain snakes. Millie is a great mouser. And if she can void herself outside, all the better.Millie is loved and we will miss her. But we think putting her up for adoption is her best option.
