Woody came to us in March with an extreme fear of people and has improved so much! He would sit in the back of his kennel, hidden by the walls of his litter box, accepting no human interaction. He would hiss at everyone and just simply put; he wanted to be left alone. After two months here at the shelter, Woody is thriving, and you wouldn't recognize him based off personality alone. He now comes to the front of his kennel for attention from just about anyone. He enjoys human interaction so much that he meows for it as you walk past. He still might be a little nervous to new faces, but he warms up rather quickly.Along with his multiple friends, Woody has made many improvements since coming to the shelter. When you pet him, Woody arches his back to accept all the love you can give him. He also pushes up against your hands, arms and face to receive more love! Since he came to the shelter with more friends than you can count, Woody seems to do well around other cats. Almost an attitude of "if you don't bother me, I won't bother you." Woody is easily entertained by himself, but also enjoys a cuddly human every once in a while. He likes to spend his days sleeping cozily in his cat home. At about 5 years old, Woody has the maturity of a calm, older cat but has plenty of life to live and grow with a new family that wants to love him furever!
