PENDING ARRIVAL FROM SAUDI ARABIA CHLOE WAS ABANDONED WITH A FRACTURED LEG THAT HAD TO BE AMPUTATED. SHE SPENT 5 MONTHS IN BOARDING AND BECAME SCARED AROUND HUMANS. AFTER THAT SHE WENT TO A FOSTER HOME AND HAS MADE PROGRESS TO BE MORE COMFORTABLE AROUND PEOPLE BUT SHE DOES NOT YET ALLOW PEOPLE TO PET HER. SHE NEEDS AN EXPERIENCED AND PATIENT FOSTER WHO CAN GIVE HER MORE ONE-ON-ONE TIME. SHE DOES FINE AROUND OTHER CATS. *** PLEASE NOTE*** 4Paws will only consider local adoptions (Northern VA / DC / MD metropolitan area)
