The adoption fee is waived for Aiko and ALL Desperate Housecats!Aiko came in to the shelter with several other cats from an outdoor situation that was no longer safe. She is a part of our Cactus Cat program, getting extra attention and socialization through clicker training with volunteers. Aiko loves other cats and may do best in a home with a friendly cat companion to comfort her and help her trust people. It will take some time and patience on the part of her adopter to help her acclimate to a new place. With plenty of treats and encouragement, we think she could become a special addition to her new family. I am a DHC, and I have my own webpage!
