Hello there, my name is Mellow!!I am the most handsome orangie you may have ever met! You may notice when you meet me, I may walk a little funny at times. The med team here noticed that I have moderate severity bilateral coxofemoral (hip) osteoarthritis. I will be sent home with pain meds to help me feel like myself. I WILL REQUIRE A VET REFERENCE BEFORE ADOPTING!The adopter should schedule an appointment for Mellow with their veterinarian within the first few weeks following adoption. This will allow the adopter`s veterinarian to review his medical history, perform a baseline physical examination, and discuss long-term management options of his hip osteoarthritis and dental/periodontal disease.I am so excited to go to my forever home!!FWACC reserves the right to place me in my best fit home.
