Prior to getting to my current weight I used to be more playful. I enjoyed dangly wand toys, and it is important for my adopters to introduce play back into my daily routine.I should have a very slow introduction to my new home. I should start in one quiet room with managed hiding spaces, and gradually be given more access to the house as I settle in. My adopter should be prepared to leave me be at the beginning, and let me solicit interactions as I become comfortable.A fear-free vet is recommended! I am sensitive for close handling. My adopters should be cat-savvy and comfortable reading cat-body language. Consent tests should be used.My medical records are available for potential adopters to look at. I am clearly a chunky girl (I think I am just big-boned!), and my adopter should discuss working with a vet to help me shed some pounds!The shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon - 4:30pm, with no appointment needed to meet available cats.Compatibility:Cats: Possibly - no history.
