Clive, Domestic Mediumhair For Adoption In Washington, District Of Columbia

I'm in a Foster Home! To meet me, email my foster parent at XXXX@gmail.com.Clive is looking for a patient human to love him unconditionally. He had a rough start to life and is still getting used to being around humans. But he's come a very long way in the past two months! He went from extremely shy and scared all the time to only shy and scared some of the time. He likes his own space but comes out of hiding when he wants to play, mostly while all the humans are sleeping, and when it's meal time. He can sometimes be caught lounging out on the furniture when he thinks no one's around. He's not ready for cuddles or pets yet but he might get there. He remains very cautious around humans but loves Churu/gravy treats enough that he will lick it off your fingers! He also enjoys a nice play session with a wand toy. He is very much a work in progress but with patience he should continue to come out of his shell. He is a bit hissy -- it's his way of creating boundaries -- but his "bark" is worse than his bite. Even so, he'd probably do better in a home without children. He has a history of being around many other cats so he might do well with other animals.
