Lenten Rose has it all: beauty, charm, sweetness, love and a playful spirit. If you're looking for a lap cat, you can't do better than Lenten Rose. She would love to fall asleep and purr in your lap while you watch a movie. Or she can entertain herself by watching birds through the window or playing with her toys. She has done well with other cats in her foster home, with only a few warning hisses at first, but no fighting. She can be a little bit skittish, so a home with energetic dogs or very young children may be difficult for her. It is impossible to meet this little lady without falling madly in love with her. We dare you to try! Lenten Rose lived with Gerbera Daisy before they were found, along with Gerbera's 5 kittens, abandoned in front of the ASPCA a couple weeks ago. Meet Lenten Rose at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4 on Saturday during our weekly adoption event. All cats are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on date appropriate vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, mircohipped, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption.
