Solar is a cat with special needs, as she has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH). She is one of three sisters that are all CH, and needs to be adopted with Sunny or Star. She is a sweet girl who is a little wobbly on her feet. She will need to be in a home with carpeting, no access to stairs. She can eat and drink on her own, and eats both wet food and dry. She does require the use of silicone bowls so she can't injure herself. Solar uses the litter box on her own, but she needs a high side, low front entry litter box. Her disability will not get worse, as she learns and adapts to her environment with patience.Adoption processWe start with a phone interview to gather information to determine if initially it would be a good fit. We then have an application to be completed and in some circumstances a home visit.Shelter locationOur pets are available to meet by appointment only by calling or texting our adoption coordinator Karyn at 435-640-XXXX, or via email at XXXX@plfu.org.
