Say hello to the beautiful Bootsie!!! This gorgeous gal came to the shelter when her former owner had landlord issues. We are still getting to know Bootsie and will be posting more information soon, so check back soon -- or better yet, come meet Bootsie in person at The Anti-Cruelty Society - she can't wait to meet you!Adoption processAdoption Requirements:Must be 18 years of age or older for standard adoptions. Must have valid ID Adoption fees are based on an animal's age and species. Each adoption Includes: 1. Complete veterinary exam 2. Inoculations against rabies and other diseases 3. Heartworm test for dogs /Feline leukemia test for cats 4. Spaying or neutering (it's mandatory) 5. Collar 6. Lifetime ID tag (on The Anti-Cruelty Society's registry)7. Permanent identification microchip 8. Dog leash or cat carrier 9. One month of free pet insurance for this important transitional period.Shelter locationOur adoption center at 510 N. LaSalle Avenue is open daily for walk-in adoptions from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m..
