Baxter! What a sweet little ham. He absolutely loves playing and will be very disappointed if you don't play with him for as long as he wants. He loves the cat dancer toy and will jump very high trying to 'attack' the ribbon. It's just about the cutest thing. He also is very treat and food motivated, so just bring some Churu meat tubes and you've met your new best friend. After he plays hard, he likes to relax in a warm bed. He loves a special bed that plugs in and stays warm. He loves snuggling with his siblings too. Speaking of siblings, Baxter must be adopted with one of his siblings or to a home with another young cat or kitten that he can play with and keep company. Baxter is fine with gentle kids and hasn't met any dogs. He should be fine with the right introduction. Baxter is an easy and sweet guy and can't wait to make your home his own. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.
