We are still getting to know this great guy and will be posting more information soon, so check back -- or better yet, come meet Mickey in person at Anti-Cruelty today!Adoption processAdoption Requirements:Must be 18 years of age or older for standard adoptions. Must have valid ID Adoption fees are based on an animal's age and species. Each adoption Includes: 1. Complete veterinary exam 2. Inoculations against rabies and other diseases 3. Heartworm test for dogs /Feline leukemia test for cats 4. Spaying or neutering (it's mandatory) 5. Collar 6. Lifetime ID tag (on The Anti-Cruelty Society's registry)7. Permanent identification microchip 8. Dog leash or cat carrier 9. One month of free pet insurance for this important transitional period.Shelter locationOur adoption center at 510 N. LaSalle Avenue is open daily for walk-in adoptions from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m..
