Flauta is a tall, handsome, young kitty. His green eyes are gorgeous! He is very playful (string and feather toys are his favorites!). He loves hanging out on his tall cat tree and looking out the window. He is vocal for affection and seeks out attention. He would love a home with a human who is home a lot. Flauta was adopted as a kitten and recently returned to AJL. His home situation had changed and the other cats in the home caused Flauta to be very stressed, resulting in a UTI. He is all better now and is on a prescription urinary diet, which he loves. The first week after his return, he was a little stressed in his foster home (sometimes change can be hard!). But he has settled in nicely and shown himself to be a very sweet, loving cat who enjoys and craves lots of affection and attention. Even though he has his own room away from other cats, he is not a fan. After all the changes in his young life, we feel he needs to be an only cat in his new home. He did like and played with the dog in his first home, so a kitty-friendly companion pup might be good for him with slow and proper introductions. Our adoption process does include a trial period, where Flauta would live in your home prior to adoption to give him time to settle and adjust. He might need more time than other cats for this period. Patience and slow introductions to the home are key. Would you like to welcome this sweet young boy into your family?
