Jack was named after musician Jonathan Richman, goes by Jack, and is just one of those cats you won't forget. He is a lovely young man who stepped up to care for his kids and stand by his lady Jenny Diane when he could have easily flown the coop. He and Jenny lived very lean, outside, while trying to raise one litter after another, relying on the kindness of strangers for food and looking for shelter in the semi-junkyard they called home, right next to a very busy road and gas station. Jack and Diane are looking for a home of their own where they can rule the roost and delight you with their playful antics. They are likely to do well in a home with one or two other cats, as they did grow up in somewhat of a colony, but a home all their own would be best. Jack gained weight at his foster home and is a solid 16 pounds, He loves to chill, nap, play, and remind his lady how much he loves her. He loves you, too, and just deserves the best.We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. All cats and kittens available for adotpion have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given a rabies vaccine. Our adoption fees also cover lifetime microchip registration.
