Meet Holt! Holt and his siblings came to us to find homes to call their very own! We believe Holt was born in April of 2023, and would do well with all ages and other animals with proper introduction. According to his foster mom, Holt does well with children and adults, and he is a very sweet guy! He is equal parts playful and snuggly! He would also love to have a feline friend in his new home, or to take a friend or sibling with him when he gets adopted! Holt is looking forward to having a home to call his very own! All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
