You may have heard the story of Wisteria. The Hero Mom who saved her kittens. Wisteria was attacked by a dog trying to protect her newborn kittens. She was seriously injured and turned into Haralson county Animal Control. They reached out to Floyd Felines to help with the situation. We took in Wisteria and rushed her to the vet where she had surgery. She had numerous vet visits, but now she is healed and it would be difficult to even see her scars. She has finished raising her kittens and they are finding homes, now it is time for Wisteria.Wisteria may not be the big cuddle bug that some folks look for, but she is a very sweet and quite cat. She is not skittish and loves to just sit and relax now that she has come through the toughest time in her life. She wants to be petted and she will happily sit beside you and let you pet her. She does not mind other cats at all, but obviously, she doesn't need to be around dogs again. She also must be an inside cat. We never want her to be in peril again. She absolutely loves to sit on cat trees -- the higher the better. I am sure part of it makes her feel safe, she can observe all that is going on around her.Are you ready to let this Heroine be part of your family?
